It was the last day of the NJ buck week and I saw a few does and some small bucks. I was hunting from a ground blind and it was getting dark and I was thinking about packing it in when and nice buck stepped out into the field that I was watching. I had to wait until he cleared the does and some of the smaller bucks. I had a small opening to shoot through and took the shot. The slug clipped the lower portion of hi left lung and ran about 150 yards.
