November 17, 2003
I harvested this deer on a cold and rainy November day in central Indiana. I was unsure of the distance to the deer as there was a large ravine between the buck and myself.
After I took the shot and the deer dropped, I exited my treestand and was able to more accurately judge the distance. I was amazed — it was 165 yards!
I would not have been able to take this animal with any other slug. The Lightfield slug went above and beyond its duty.
