When ordering a standard 10 round box of the 20ga Schrifle Raptor Alv; please state what weight slug you are ordering. On the page were your credit card info is filled in (on the right side) there is an Order Note box, please state the slug weight you are ordering. Example: 260gr or 270 grain.

The 20ga Schrifle Raptor Alv series is $45.00 for a 10-round box.

From Oct 1, thru as long as they last, TarHunt is releasing a 6-round writer/sample box in the following slug weights:  the 26ogr or the 270gr in a white box.

The Schrifle:  Raptor Alv slug 6-round sample box is $28.50 plus shipping.

The Schrifle:  NeoTec Copper 365gr 6-round box is $32.50    plus shipping.

The “20ga Schrifle” non-sabot round, typically produces 12% less serious flyers than any other current sabot-discarding production rounds.

Current loading:   The 260gr Raptor Alv at 2025fps is recommended for barrels with a 1-23 or 1-24 twist rates. Although a number of guns firing the 270gr Raptor Alv at 1975fps in both 1-26 and 1-28 twist rates are producing good accuracy out thru 140yards or more.  They will require testing as results may vary do to  the differences in non-SAAMI barrel dimensions.

I can not make a the 20ga “Schrifle” round that will not work when used in the H&R 960 slug gun because of it’s oversize bore.        $45.00 for 10 rounds per box.

i hunt in in a shotgun only county in va. i shot every round known to man and well over 500 doollars worth in ammo through my savage 220 to find a round that would get the adverised sub 4 inch groups @ 200 with no luck. shot the shrifle slugs, first three at 100 were all touching. next three at 150 would fit in dixie cup and dropped 4 inches from the 100 yard group which was dead nuts center of my aim. i cant afford to shoot at 200 but i have no doubt i can drop a deer at 200 with a slight elevation adjustment. great job and thanks tar hunt.
